Job Title: Secondary Humanities Teacher

Description: Mamawi Atosketan Native School is looking for a dynamic educator with a passion for teaching Secondary Humanities related content. Mamawi is located southwest of Maskwacis, Alberta. Our Facility boasts a new Jr./Sr. High that includes a dedicated CTS lab. Our school is committed to a reconciliatory approach to education combining the need for a strong Adventist Christian focus and a dedication to cultural awareness and respect.
Teaching assignment for the 2019-2020 year would include Social Studies 10-1, 20-1, and 30-1, English Language Arts 10-1, 20-1, 30-1, PE 10-30, ART 10-30 and various CTS classes.
Experience teaching in an Indigenous school setting would be considered an asset. The successful applicant must hold or be eligible to obtain an Alberta teaching certificate, be eligible to work in Canada, and up to date SDA certification (or in the process of obtaining SDA certification).

Description: Prairie Adventist Christian eSchool is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Religious Studies teacher for grades 2-10. PACeS is excited to continue offering the Encounter Bible program. We are looking for a teacher who values supporting students and

Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in an online setting or demonstrate a willingness and ability to develop their technology skills.

Description: The Alberta Conference is accepting applications for the position of Learning Coach. We are seeking an educator who shows an interest and commitment to working with teachers to help them enhance their professional capacity. Examples of areas of focus include Special Education, English Language Learners, differentiated instruction, mental health and classroom management. This position requires travel to the 10 schools within the province, on a rotating basis.
