As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of your store, the development and ensuring that every customer leaves with a smile.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling costs (labour, supplies, inventory etc.). Oversee day to day operation, maintain stock, comply with inventory control procedures, order and receive products, manage sales, handle cashier duty, close sales, prepare summary and deposit in to the bank, keep the store neat and tidy at all times, formulate pricing policies, sales promotion. Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements; contribute to the team effort, planning, and organizing the store in all manner.

Some ideal qualification you possess:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in retail sales.
• Retail management experience is an added advantage.
• An energetic person capable of exuding positivity and consistently delivering an outstanding, personalized retail service.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• A self-starter with excellent communication skills.
• Able to commute to bank and shopping for the store
• Able to lift and move delivered items inside the store

Job Type: Full time

Salary: $30,000 plus benefits

We are best known for our Vegetarian food items operated by the Crawford Adventist Academy for over 30 years.

Job Title: Junior Kindergarten Assistant

Description: Crawford Adventist Academy Peel Campus is seeking a dynamic, creative Christ-like individual to work as a Junior Kindergarten Assistant for the 2019-2020 school year. This individual must provide care and guidance to Junior Kindergarten children under the guidance of the Junior Kindergarten teacher. This individual must love working with children and engage them in activities to stimulate and develop their spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional growth. CAA Peel is located in Caledon, Ontario.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Early Childhood Education preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of three to five years’ experience in working with children.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Must be patient and enjoy working with children, especially ages 4 – 5.

REPORTS TO: JK – 8 Principal, Junior Kindergarten Teacher

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the implementation of daily program/activities of the Lead Teacher.
• Assist in recess and classroom supervision in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
• Assist in preparing a suitable learning environment for children, supplying them with necessary materials, stationery, etc. and setting up.
• Attend a Kindergarten Teacher conference at least once per year.
• Help children in developing good habits including that of personal hygiene.
• Help maintain a neat and clean classroom.
• Must be capable of lifting a weight of up to 40 pounds, climb stairs and be able to bend and stretch.
• Review material taught by the teacher and tutor individual children or groups.
• Reinforce the concepts taught by the teacher and provide students with additional opportunities to learn and master the material.
• Responsible for teaching least one lesson per day.
• A firm commitment as a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• The ability to work effectively with staff.
• Documented ability to work legally in Canada.
• A thorough knowledge of their discipline(s).
